Together with the EC Steering Committee we will organise three Civil Society Dialogues on the EC premises to meet and engage with civil society and key stakeholders on the findings, methodologies, assumptions and choices made during the TSIA study. We will present and explain the work completed and ask for constructive criticism on (parts of) our work in order to stimulate debates regarding the methodology used and outcomes generated. Our experience has shown us that at Civil Society Dialogues valuable comments and suggestions for improvement are made that strengthen the reports.
The proposed methodology was presented during the first meeting on 5 May 2014. The second meeting took place on 13 January 2017 and covered the (preliminary) outcomes of the overall economic, social, human rights, and environmental analyses. The last meeting will take place on Wednesday 17 May where we will present the overall conclusions and recommendations. More information about participation can be found on DG Trade’s website. The presentation and minutes of each meeting can be accessed via the download section.
