Online publication Final Report
On 17 May 2017 the study team has presented the outcomes of the draft Final Report that was published earlier in May (the presentation and meeting report can be found in the download section of our website). Based on the feedback and comments received the report has been revised and is now publicly available. With the revision of the Final Report the Trade Sustainability Impact Assessment of TiSA has been finalised.
On Wednesday 17 May the study team will present the findings of the draft Final Report on the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) in Brussels. Information about the meeting and on how to participate can be found on DG Trade’s website.
After the publication of the draft Interim Report in December 2016, stakeholders have been given the opportunity to provide comments or feedback on the report. The study team has taken these into consideration when finalising the Interim Report. The report can be downloaded here or from our download section.
The draft Final Report is expected in April 2017.
The study team is pleased to share with you the draft Interim Report on the Trade Sustainability Impact Assessment on TiSA. The draft report analyses the overall economic, social, human rights, and environmental impacts. In addition, the report includes the selection of case studies and sector studies, which will be analysed in the Final Report.
On 13 January 2017 we will present the results of the draft Interim Report during a Civil Society Dialogue in Brussels. More details on the CSD and how to register can be found on DG TRADE’s website. Questions, feedback, or comments on the report can be shared with the study team during the meeting or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). The deadline for providing comments is 27 January 2017.
The European Commission has published its summary report of the 21st TiSA negotiation round. The latest TiSA negotiation round was held from 2-10 November. It is expected that another round will be held before the end of the year.
